Focus Area 3
Focus Area 3 supports Malay/Muslim youths to grow with confidence, find their path and step forward as future-ready contributors.
Through mentoring, leadership opportunities, community experiences and the KitaKini digital portal, youths can connect with people, programmes and resources that help them make informed choices in school, work and life.
Our goal is simple: help every youth feel seen, supported and ready to take their next step.
This focus area is led by Mdm Rahayu Mahzam, Minister of State, Ministry of Digital Development and Information & Ministry of Health. She is supported by Dr Syed Harun, Senior Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Education & Ministry of National Development.

Your Gateway to Opportunities and Support
KitaKini is FA3’s digital portal for Malay/Muslim youths to discover programmes, events, resources and opportunities in one place.
From mentoring and career exposure to education pathways and community activities, KitaKini helps youths see what is possible — and take the first step.

Mentoring Programmes
Mentoring connects youths with people who can listen, guide and open up new possibilities. Across FA3 programmes, youths build confidence, gain exposure and take clearer steps towards their goals.
Project PUNCAK
A mentoring programme for Secondary 1 students to build self-awareness, resilience, confidence and a stronger sense of direction.
PEER Community Programme
Led by MENDAKI Club, PEER supports secondary school students through positive experiences, trusted relationships and community-based learning.
#amPowered
A 9-month mentoring journey for Muslim ITE students to stay motivated, complete their studies and plan their next education or career step.
MARA Mentoring
A mentoring network that connects undergraduates and young professionals with industry leaders for career guidance and networking.
Flash Mentoring
Focused mentoring conversations with professionals who equip youths with practical advice, career insights and real-world perspectives.
Signature Youth Events
Beyond our mentoring programmes, Focus Area 3 brings the community together through signature youth events held across the M³+@Towns. These community-wide platforms connect youths, families, mentors and partners, surface youth voice and aspirations, and open doors to opportunities, leadership and community contribution.
YOUth@M³+
A flagship platform bringing together youths, mentors, and community and industry partners across M³@Towns to strengthen aspirations and leadership, spotlight education and career pathways, and deepen collaboration within the youth ecosystem.
M³+ Youth Festival
A vibrant community-wide celebration of Malay/Muslim youth, co-organised with our M³+ partners, blending cultural activities with future-ready experiences to make opportunities, mentoring, and support accessible across the M³@Towns.
SHG Youth Dialogue
A platform that brings Malay/Muslim youths together with youths from the other Self-Help Groups and with community leaders to discuss the issues that matter to them. The Dialogue amplifies youth voice, encourages cross-community collaboration and channels young people’s ideas and aspirations into shaping their community and Singapore’s future.
Malay/Muslim Youth Taskforce
The Malay/Muslim Youth Taskforce Report reflects the voices and aspirations of over 2,600 youth in Singapore. It highlights their hopes, challenges, and priorities across career, identity, values, and civic participation, offering recommendations to better support young people as they navigate a changing world.
