Founded in 1952, PPIS is a non-profit organisation focused on community services. They are dedicated to working with women of all ages in carrying out their multiple roles in society. They run three core community services, namely Family Services, Student Care, and a Residential Facility, serving as a secular halfway house for women engaged in community rehabilitation programmes. With 10 centres island-wide, the services work together to provide quality and holistic support and developmental programmes for women and their families across the different phases of their lives.

PPIS Family Service Centre (FSC)
PPIS Family Service Centre (FSC) East and West were set up to promote, develop and maintain the well-being of family units to contribute to the progress of the nation.
Strengthening Families Programme - FAM (PPIS)
FAM (PPIS) offers Family Counselling (FC) and Divorce Support Programme (DSP) for individuals, couples and families.
Strengthening Remarriages and Step Families
PPIS Vista Sakinah specialises in preparing and strengthening remarriages and step families. The centre works with couples and step families to awaken resilience and foster a sense of peace and tranquillity in the life of their stepfamily.
Young Marriages (INSPIRASI PPIS)
INSPIRASI PPIS help young Muslim couples in building strong marital and familial relationships, as well as to help them adjust to changes needed in order to create a healthy and enriching family environment. Our Marriage Preparation Programme (MPrep) is designed for young couples and their parents to make an informed decision on marriage, as well as to prepare the young couples for family life. Apart from MPrep, young married couples can continue to benefit from our range of Marriage Enrichment and Support Programme (MESP).
Fostering in Singapore (PPIS Oasis)
Through casework management, therapeutic and support services, the centre hopes to facilitate the fostering journey of both foster child and parents, as well as to reach out to more aspiring foster parents through recruitment efforts.
Working Together with M³+
PPIS has partners with M³+ to strengthen support for incarcerated individuals and their families, in partnership with Rise Above Halfway House; to participate in events and share expertise in specialised areas such as marriage, parenthood, early childhood, and support for low-income families; to drive stronger outcomes across the five M³+ focus areas and other M³+ initiatives; and to establish operational guidelines and best practices covering funding, venue support and other resources.
